I recommend that everyone running a community bike shop should set up a
wholesale account with one of the suppliers around the country and do their
ordering that way.  You can buy bulk patches and glue, plus all your other
supplies (tools, grease, tubers, parts, etc.) for much cheaper this way.

We have an account with Seattle Bike Supply.  I didn't set it up, but I
don't think it's that big a deal to do.  Other suppliers like Quality and
J&B have higher end stuff which most community bike shops don't necessarily
need, but may be worth checking into as well.
