Hi there fine folks!

We are currently updating the community bike shops mailing list and wondering if y'all have the final registration list from last year's bike!bike! in Detroit?

This info will be used
1. to update the contact list
2. to ask if any shops are willing to receive mail outside of Canada to redistribute in their country/area
3.to email out fundraising ideas should any shops be interested in helping raise money toward the scholarship fund

thanks y'all!

Ah right, did we want to have a meeting before the holidays?

I’m not sure if the debriefing meeting happened or not.

I received the following feedback from conference attendees:

Host city volunteers should have worn identical BikeBike themed t-shirts and/or hats so they could be easily identified by the conference attendees for information, help or questions.

The conference attendees found the guidebook maps and directions to the venues difficult to follow.

Thanks,
Glenn

I agree that it would be good of us to show support. I will plan to be there either way, but it could be a nice two birds kind of situation.
Is everyone else available that evening? I know Thursday evenings were good for a lot of us for meetings.

I would really like to do this meetup at the Sundays in Cass Park 2016 Fundraiser. It's Thursday November 3rd 5pm-10pm at the Gaelic league. It's a spaghetti dinner fundraiser. $15

Jim Rehberg from the Wobbly Kitchen helped us out a lot with feeding BikeBike. He made a bunch of apple cinnamon salad, garlic bread, green beans, cold tea, apple cider, berry cake, and more. He loaned us a coffee maker, a 100qt pot, knives, ect.

The past 5 years he's been feeding people a warm meal at Cass Park every other Sunday. Once in awhile he gets a couple hundred dollars from a grant, but this dinner is how he raises most of the money.

Jim was at BikeBike the entire weekend, it would be really cool if we showed up as a group for this dinner.

let's do a sunday or a thursday?  so there's not too much conflict with like, other things?  i like the idea of cass's upper level.  also, those days work for me as well, as far as debrief meetings go.

Ride was awesome! Only about ten riders made it though. Which was cool because we were all able to fit in the yurt XD

As usual, Thursdays (except tomorrow) are good for me. Sun, Mon, Tues as well.

Meg and I are down. We just can't be anywhere until 8:30 PM Tuesday through Thursday. Friday through Monday evenings before Nov 3rd will work for us.

A post mortem would be a great idea.
I am going to be out of town next week till the beginning of November. That and the weekend of the 6th. Any time outside of those dates works for me!

Good idea! Ooh, how did the ride go??
I went on tour with my band right after BB and am still playing catch up! My weekends are nuts with Halloween gigs (DJing Theatre Bizarre woot) but something like a chill non-Tuesday weekday evening within the next couple weeks would work for me!

PS shameless plug, I'm hosting a $3 monthly variety night at Lager and my band is playing it this Thursday, if y'all want to hang out!

Hey Guys,

We should schedule a debriefing meeting pretty soon, and it'd be cool if we also did a little volunteer appreciation at the same time (or probably shortly after). I'm thinking cass cafe's upper level-- or I could host at my home-- whichever folks prefer.

When are you free for an evening meeting & mild party?

Heather
