Ok, pronoun question is up, please give some feedback on this copy or UX if you can:
[cid:951ceb1f-df31-4c16-bc1e-e5a56bbfcf9d]
I also added a confirmation message at the end of registration:
[cid:eccbd670-dd0d-4af3-a507-70327c069ab8]
I updated the prod site so you can now download previous years' registration data from the statistics page but I removed user names and emails. Data was different in previous years so there may be data missing, please let me know if this is useful.
Thanks! Godwin

Organizing] Registration and some other stuff
Yea, I should add a link to view the workshops on the front page, I'd also like to add links to view previous years' workshops on the workshops page so that people can get some more ideas of what they should look like. All that will come after we open registration though since we don't really need it just yet.
We do need a message once registration is complete, Graham and I talked about that and it fell off my radar, I'm going to add it now.
The thing that I would really like help with at this point is English copy. I'm not great at writing copy and haven't been able to devote much time to it and I think it's probably a little inconsistent. Graham and I have also been working on a workshop guide that we would like on the site this year but still needs work: https://www.bikecollectives.org/wiki/index.php?title=Guide_to_Facilitating_B...
If you Momoko, or anyone else has time to dig into the website copy or the workshop guide that would be super helpful.
Thanks again! ________________________________ From: BikeBikeOrganizing bikebikeorganizing-bounces@lists.bikecollectives.org on behalf of momoko saunders analyst@bikefarm.org Sent: June 12, 2017 8:18:34 PM To: bikebikeorganizing@lists.bikecollectives.org Subject: Re: [Bike!Bike! Your wording is fine. I just made wild assumptions when I saw the map. I didn't even really read anything cause I quickly became focused on scrolling.
From a UI point of view, it's odd that I can see the conference details from the front page, but there's not an obvious way to see the workshop details unless you go to conferences tab, and then click the Winnipeg one and then scroll to the bottom., https://preview-en.bikebike.org/conferences/Winnipeg2017/
Maybe you'll link to them in the conference summary on the first page?
Not a blocker by any means,
I went through registration with out a hitch, even pressed back buttons and canceled and choose irrational things. I also went through it as an normal person and was surprised by how predictive it was. I did make some strings run off the page by making them super long. Probably won't be an issue, but it could be if someone posts a super long URL.
I felt unsure when it was over. Maybe a quick thank you. But also, not a stopper.
Again, not a stopper, but I could create a workshop after canceling my registration. Maybe that's fine. I could not see workshops unless logged in. and I did not get an email when I commented on the workshop since my registration is canceled.
I hope this random assortment of scenarios shows that I tested a bunch of things and never got stuck, 404'd, or confronted with odd super odd behaviour.
Is there anything else you'd like me to specifically test.
I'm sorry I can't help with language. -m

Thanks Momoko, I agree about the map but I'm going to put that off until after registration is open since it's not a blocker.
I'm going to first reduce the amount of info on the home page and only show extended details when the user clicks details, but I agree, I'll look into a good way of adding a link or a button before the poster.
I see you workshop under all the all workshops page, it should also show up on the registration review page under "Your workshops" I'll look into this a little more later. The map is a map of conferences, not organizations. I'll be working on the new bikecollectives.orghttp://bikecollectives.org site after Bike!Bike! where we will show the map with organizations we collected during registration this year. Maybe the language I used was a little misleading?

UI bug:
Map Scrolling: I'm working on a mac laptop computer, When I go to https://preview-en.bikebike.org/conferences/ I just stuck strolling through the map (zooming in and out) I am unable to scroll down to see the rest of the content, (attached screen shot)
my fix is to change the zoom on the whole page to make the map smaller, so I can click on the other sections of the web page. But this might not be obvious to everyone.
Registration Button: The registration button is all the way at the bottom of the conference text. It's not obvious at all. It should likely be on the first view of the webpage.
Maybe Bug:
The info from my registration is not reflected on the site. I added a workshop, and added my org. But I do not see my workshop nor do I see my org on the map. Does it take a while?
