Hey folks, I have set up the 2017 page and added Geoff and Camille as administrators. It's not visible yet but you can start editing the description, add dates, upload a poster, etc.
The way I set it up is by organization, so I added the Wrench and the Dump but I wasn't sure if any other orgs will be involved and I wasn't absolutely sure who is with which org. Geoff and Camille, when you get a chance can you add others that will need access to administration? If we need to add new orgs I will still need to do that manually so just let me know, otherwise you can add administrators who are not associated with one of the orgs.
To access the administration, just log in, you should see a link to it on your settings page as well as the conferences page. To add administrators, from the conferences page or the conference info page click "Administrate" then "Administrators and Organizations". Whenever you're ready to make it show up on the front page just let me know. We can make it live without the poster and dates but we should probably at least have the description ready before then.
Let me know when things become confusing, I'll walk you through it and use that feedback to help make it less confusing.

Hi Godwin, we just had a meeting this past wednesday, and contacting you about the website was on my todo list. The website and registration committee is myself, Janis, Eric, and Camille. We have talked about not using the main bikebike site for registration since we will possibly need more flexibility and feel we might be better served with a wordpress site and available plugins. That said, I would be interested in taking a look at what the options are with the existing site and seeing if it will meet our needs.

Hi Graham, as the hosts that's totally up to you but please check out what the site offers, I've been developing the site for fours years now to try to meet everyone's needs and if there's something you need that's not there I usually build it in. I already have a long list of feature that I intend to include for this year.
Please log in and take a look, there are tools for contacting attendees, assigning attendees with housing, building your schedule, and allowing you and the site users to provide translations.
Like I said, it's completely up to you but I believe it would be wise to make sure you have a good idea of what the current system offers and bring me into that conversation before coming to a final decision.

How I get access to anything? I signed in with the link at the bottom, but the only additional option I get is to choose my preferred language. Other than that I still see the same website. I had Camille add me as an admin, though I didn't get an email to that effect.

Hit "Conferences" in the top menu, on that page you should see a list of all upcoming conferences. If you're logged in with the email address "grhmstwrt@gmail.com" you should see it in the list or you can find it here directly: https://en.bikebike.org/conferences/Winnipeg2017/
I just noticed that your email address had been entered using caps which is probably why it didn't see you as the same user, I'll make a backlog item to make sure it does a case-insensitive search.

Hi folks! Just to pipe in...from a house-matching perspective Godwin's platform was *very* helpful and far and above what I was planning to put together with Google surveys. It took a second to figure out how to use but was worth the effort.
