Hey everyone,
My name is Alex and I work with The Community Spoke!  Thanks for all the love over the last week.  I'm glad to know that this list exists, I hope to use it more often.
After our burglary and the subsequent outpouring of support we've decided to accept online donations.  If you feel moved to donate, you can visit our website and click on the paypal button.  If you'd like to donate tools, (usps priority mail flat rate boxes are great for very heavy items) materials, checks (care of Graham Conway) or cash or send postcards and letters (we love pen pals) you can send them to our de facto operating address:

The Community Spoke!
53 Brentwood St.
Allston MA 02134

We are all volunteer operated.  100% of financial donations will go to replacing our stolen items or buying tools and consumable materials as well as maintaining our space.  If you are local and would like to donate your time, please get in touch.  Volunteering goes much further than cash can.
Thanks again, I hope that you all have a great winter!

-Alex and TCS!

Yup, we live in a large house collective house in a neighborhood of Boston called Jamaica Plain. The Spoke operates out of our garage and basement.

Also keep an eye on the site, because I imagine there will be info about donating! Thanks everyone.

Hey folks,

I don't work directly with the Spoke! anymore, but it is located at my house. I think they are still figuring out how they want to handle accepting donations etc. (they've gotten a lot of offers, which is awesome!).

Definitely check out their website, as they've written up a great conversation starter about accountability, police and community.

Also, a list of what they need the most would help focus efforts.
