We pay to have them recycled. Try your local tire yard. Ask around thou because some places burn them with coal, and others make roadways, playground padding etc out of them. We have been able to get multiple shops in town to save old tires and tubes. Selling the inner tubes to the rubber yards almost pays for the hauling and recycle of the tires.

At Off the Chain, in Anchorage, we have piles and piles of used tires. We can't use all of them, are tired of paying to store them, and don't want to throw so much rubber into a landfill. What are other shops doing with all of their extra, un-useable tires?
