i'm all warm inside.
Johnathan,
You do not know me, and I will never admit to having sent this email to you. :-)
I have been following along with all of you on The Think Tank thread. I have on one or two occasion contributed my thoughts and knowledge. But mostly I've learned. Part of what I've learned about is a whole world of cycling that I am embarrassed to say I did not know existed. Now that I know it is out there, I am trying to learn as much about Bicycle co-ops and collectives as I can.
Part of my reason for wanting to know and learn about it, as I contemplate yet another revision of my biz plan for a new fitness and adventure travel related company, which is very unique, I want to have viable components for a business that will in part "pay it forward" in terms of promoting health, well-being, cycling, rowing, hand cycling. I would also like to have it be inclusive to a degree of accessibility to all, but not to the point of becoming considered a company that is exclusively for the physically challenged.
These are delicate lines to straddle without crossing, but important I believe to the future of the activities, and also to the success of my business.
I'm sorry to bore you with all this, but I wanted to let you know that the video you sent out to all on you tube....hit me hard as falling off my bike at full tilt onto the pavement. It had me in tears. What a beautiful story it tells of a bicycles revival. Thank you for sharing and best of luck. Please be sure to share this with those at the school who worked on the video...bravo and kudo's to them as well.
Thanks for reading,
Matt
