Thanks for this reference. I'm definitely going to buy it for myself. It is especially interesting because I grew up in Milwaukee in the '60s and '70s and rode my bike all over the county without infrastructure. I get back there periodically and have seen some of the infrastructure they've put in and think it generally has limited value IMHO, but will be interested in seeing this from the perspective of diversity too.

Thanks!! It does look interesting, if anyone has any comments on it we may look to have at least on pdf.
We just got a book that is called "Gentrifier" of John Joe Schlichtman, Jason Patch, Marc Lamont Hill, Peter Marcuse. We just started it yesterday and is anyone is interested once we finish reading it will comment on it. http://www.wesmanpr.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Gentrifier.pdf

Has anyone read this academic work? http://www.nebraskapress.unl.edu/university-of-nebraska-pres s/9780803276789/
Would you recommend it for a bike co-op's library, or for a non-planning-scholar person to buy & read?
