REI has been funding us for a few years now. Try to make friends with
staff at your local store. The company prefers to support programs
in which their employees are involved; without the support of one guy
in particular, there's no way we could have gotten more than one year
of support. Our local store also sends us
their warranty returns (destroyed frames, but lots of nice new parts to
be salvaged) and will sometimes bring us a truckload of their
customers' old bikes.
I find that the more we communicate -- both with the folks at reiGives
HQ, and with our local friend -- the more smoothly the whole process
goes, and the more fun it ends up being for our youth.
