We use watered down simple green for general cleaning. Never really had a problem with it.
Cheap, non-toxic, and effective parts cleaner- Remove parts, put in 5 gallon bucket, cover with boiling water and a touch of dish soap or simple green, oscillate for a few min and rinse. Works great for getting old crud build up off of hard to reach spots.
PS, Dont use simple green to clean old Schwinn frames. The ones with the painted on white Schwinn letters seem to wipe off with simple green even if its lasted for 40+ years.

I read that Simple Green is too alkaline for cleaning bikes. Does antone have a better suggestion?Jon SherWorcester Earn A Bikehttps://www.facebook.com/WorcestereabikeSent from my iPad
