Hear! Hear! An international organization and a national one is a great idea. Keep it simple in name: Bike Collectives International suits me.

I think there should be an international umbrella organization with national sub-orgs. Maybe folks can throw out some names.... and then we can all proceed from there, maybe we should incorporate something at the next Bike!Bike! conference.

Kelly,
Thanks for the kind words. This spreadsheet has been over a year in the making, with over 100 people contributing. Blows my mind to be part of something so positive and active with so many other like minded people.
Do you still have the one you created? If you do, and you're interested, please let me know off list and I'll add any non-redundant info you collected.
It's getting to be big enough that I'm starting to wonder where to take it to next.
Any ideas?
Does anyone use this for other than contributing your own programs and ideas? Have any of you used it to connect with other shops that are doing similar work to your own?
I'd love to hear stories about how people are using this spreadsheet in your work. This may help guide the direction and the dialogue about an
umbrella (big "O") Organization, or at least some (small "o") organization to help us communicate and "work on making the big wheel better, instead of reinventing a bunch of small ones."

OMIGOD. I love that sheet! One day about 6 months ago I spent a bit of time scouring the web generating a spreadsheet about different co-ops. This one's so much better!
