Speaking of liver damage, etc.. Wondering if any shops out there

installing a hood or ventalation system, what options are there to
locate that stuff outside?
I was told that in the early days of our shop we used petroleum
solvents and everyone's head would get a bit dizzy...
For the past eight years we've been using MEC's BioCycle, and it
seems OK. We make sure any little open containers are drained back
into the plastic tank (filtered of course). For our new shop (we're
moving this weekend!) we're looking into a vent hood. The biggest
smell problems in the current space come from the rags that are
drying out, and the sump underneath our wash-up sink (we're in the
basement and the water has to be pumped up to the drain). Since
we'll no longer have that sump our main smell will be the rags.

again!!)
