This sounds great! That kind of vacancy would be perfect.
But again, a primary missing device here is a consistent and sustainable
way to post availability in both directions.
Doing it informally, i.e. just by habitualizing it as a mailing list
thing, can be easy, but also easily atrophy, with new members of the
community completely unaware it was ever a practice or possibility.
Understood re: Godwin. I'd prefer to wait for their attention and do it
via
bikecollectives.org. Is there a way to get word back if it can get
on their itinerary, even if only at some distant future point?
