Donate a used children’s bike & Make a Child Smile
The Rockville Bike Hub is running a bike donation collection on Sunday March 6th from 10am until 1pm at the Rockville Civic Park (603 Edmonston Drive). This collection drive is supporting the City of Rockville’s 2016 TERRIFIC Rockville Citizen – Bike Award Program, a program to benefit elementary school students in the City of Rockville. Help us reward a child for good deeds and service.
Bikes ranging in sizes from small 14 inch wheel kids bikes, all the way up to bikes with 26 inch wheels and ~13 inch frames are needed. The children, grades 1 through 5, typically range in height from just under 4 foot tall up to just over 5 foot tall.
If you cannot make it to the Civic Center on March 6th, feel free to contact Steve Andruski or Connie Bertka at rockvillebikehub@gmail.com to donate a bike.
The Rockville Bike Hub is a social-profit community bike shop in Rockville Maryland. For more information about us, find us on the Web at www.rockvillebikehub.org. We are also on Facebook and Twitter. Rockville Bike Hub has IRS 501(c)(3) status, so your donation is also tax-deductible.
