Summary for all positions:

The ideal candidate will be passionate about the bicycle as a sustainable, equitable, and healthy form of transportation. BICAS staff frequently work with youth, houseless, refugee, immigrant, and low-income populations. Experience working with these populations in any capacity is a plus, as is being multilingual. We encourage those who can work our WTF (Women, Transgender, Femme) workshop on Mondays to apply. Bicycle mechanical knowledge is not required but is desired. The ability to teach in a patient, compassionate, and hands-off manner is necessary. Some evening and weekend availability is expected, as well as some work outside the shop, for example: administrative tasks, outreach events, teaching classes, etc.  Please note that working at BICAS is much more than a mechanics position; the ideal candidate will be excited to participate fully in the communal governance of a small non-profit organization and be committed to the Tucson community.

Please read the entire job description link before applying. Note that is NOT just a "normal" bike shop job! For further questions please contact us at hiring@bicas.org.
