Everyone wants the nice bikes / parts, only those that don't know any better aren't savy yet (and that never lasts long if they hang around a shop).  So what does your shop do with the nice stuff in regards to work-trade?  We are trying to develop a policy in SLC.
 
I have heard some shops don't allow trade over a certain dollar value...
I have heard some shops set work-trade at an unskilled labor rate of $5...
