<br>Here&#39;s my quick plug: Litman and the VTPI are tremendous (and totally under-appreciated) assets for the entire movement for better transportation. A data-based approach is crucial for supporting our work, especially when we&#39;re trying to influence policy makers, and this dude is providing that data. I saw him speak at the last Towards Carfree Cities conference (World Carfree Network), and he had people&#39;s heads spinning. One of the best presentations I&#39;ve ever seen, on any topic. Not exactly what one might expect from an economist, but he&#39;s the real deal, trust me.<br>
