The shops I've worked at have used services like Cintas to pick them
up and clean them. At home I use a bucket of Simplegreen diluted with
water(about 60-70% simplegreen). I usually mean to scrub them, but
instead I usually just soak them for a few hours/overnight and then
lay them on the drive way to blast/rinse with the garden hose. The
runoff goes into my grass yard, and I can't tell any difference. I
usually take my soak bucket to the dump a couple times a year when
they do their weird chemical and old paint collection days.
Make sure your storing your used flammable rags in a safe flame
resistant container!!

Hi everyone,
simple question, how do you all handle grease covered, plenty
flammable used rags? Do you reuse them and if so, what do you do to
clean them that is earth friendly? _______________________________________________ Thethinktank mailing list Thethinktank@bikecollectives.org To unsubscribe, send a blank email to TheThinkTank-leave@bikecollectives.org To manage your subscription, plase visit: http://lists.bikecollectives.org/listinfo.cgi/thethinktank-bikecollectives.o...
