During the last 10-years, it has been my great pleasure to
be able to use B!KE as a platform to promote cycling, to celebrate learning,
and to get my hands dirty while building community. As a professional and as an
activist, I am ready to seek new challenges and to use my skills to more
directly address the climate crisis. On September 7th, I will start
employment as the Executive Director with one of B!KE’s partner organizations,
GreenUP.
In the next two months, B!KE will be hiring our next
Executive Director. Our board, staff, and volunteers are fully committed to
ensuring that B!KE stays focused on our goals of education and empowerment
through this transition. I have full confidence in B!KE as an independent
organization that will continue to succeed and thrive as a part of the local
cycling community.
If you or someone you know is excited to lead the community movement happening here in Nogojiwanong/Peterborough please apply. The posting can be found on our website at communitybikeshop.org/opportunities and I have attached it in .pdf format to this email.
Sincerely,
Tegan
