At the Columbus (Indiana) bike co-op, much of our volunteer base comes from a local corporation with facilities in sister cities around the world.  We're interesting in using that volunteer base to help launch co-ops in those cities where a co-op doesn't exist.  Information on bikecollectives is really helpful and we will definitely point people there.  We have some specific questions about what has been successful, so we've put together a Google survey.  If you have been involved with starting up a co-op, we'd love to have your input.
