Hi Andy,
You asked a question that has been on my mind! Thanks!
We do not allow helmet sharing in our program. Kids write their name on their helmet and it is understood that that is their personal helmet. Helmets get cleaned regularly as well.
Is it best to tell a student to come back to rides when they are nit free, or have them keep their helmet separate from everyone else, in a bag, and take it home to clean? I would like advice on this, too, as we have not had a case of lice in our program.

Hi Folks,****
What is your policy when participants appear in your
programs with head lice? Do you have a No Nit policy? Do you check participants for nits and adult lice? Do you have polices specific to helmet sharing?****
