More than you asked for, trim it down to what works for you. The graphics didn't migrate well from MS Word to Open Document, sorry but I can't fix it right now. All the pictures are open source. The checklist is one of the better ones I've found, it has full attribution.
 
I believe in ABCD because no air, you can't ride. If you get it moving, you need to be able to stop. Chain/crank(cables) make it more than a push bike. Derailleurs help us get where we want to go faster, but in a crisis we can still ride the bike. With bad A & B you should NOT ride the bike.
Yes, it can all be cherry picked apart. But I've had over 200 students who "Got it" without trouble.
