but in good news: my friend allison will be going through southern california the second week of october and she can give me (or us!) a ride from LA (or san diego!) to tempe. feel free to call me later if you are up - i don't get off work until 9 30 and i will get home around 10. if not i will call you tomorrow so we can touch base again before we see each other,

I am heading down to San Francisco by Greyhound, but I'm interested in finding other cyclists to join me in riding back east after the conference. I'm fairly flexible as to when I need to leave SFO, and I would be open to going straight back through Yosemite, or taking a more southerly route from Los Angeles or San Diego. I am hoping to ride all the way back to Florida, but if anyone is going as far a the eastern slope of the Rockies, it would be great to find riding partners across the more desolate, western stretch.
