PayPal is a simple platform, which is good and bad. Easy to set up, but no recurring donations and no free, easy connection to Salesforce. We've used it for donations, and used PayPal buttons to register for our classes. So it would work for an event. I like that you can create different buttons for various events, with different prices. They click, fill out the PayPal form, you get an email with details of the order.

Thank you Jack!
Good suggestions! I will look in to those as well. I believe we use paypal through our website to take donations....I would think it'd be easy to track as well for fundraisers?
We use Salesforce, both for donations and tracking volunteer hours. It works fine for some events, but have used PayPal in past to sell tickets and manually entered the data. We just started with Click&Pledge, which is a free/donor paid platform. It has some event management features we want to explore, and good connection with Salesforce. I like how Salesforce lets us customize to capture all the info we want to track, and have one central place for all data. This is the year we tackle event management!

Good Morning (almost afternoon), all!
I have a question for any folks out there whose collective/workshop does large fundraisers/events where participants are asked to register either themselves or teams. We have been using crowdrise and had a number of complications with it this year. Are there any fundraising websites or apps out there that you would suggest? Just kinda getting things organized for next year...
Thank you in advance. Greatly appreciated.
