tl;dr:
DavisWiki.org is hella useful. Everyone uses it. It's our city's wikipedia. Go check it out. LocalWiki.org could be hella useful in your city.
Right now they're doing a fundraiser. They only have a month left and they're nearly halfway there. Since fundraising is with kickstarter, it's all or nothing. Please contribute some dollars, be the awesome grassroots community that I know and love, and spread the word.
