I just picked up a book called "How to choose and use a bicycle without doing something dumb." It is from 1974 and an excellent intro book. They don't make 'em like they used to. It has appropriate and relevant details and illustrations. Looks like the ISBN might be 440-03664-195 (even though that doesn't look like any modern ISBN for a book written in English). It is by Peter Braddock, published by Tobey Publishing Co., and illustrated by Bruce Bulger.
