I seem to recall a google spreadsheet someone was working on that had a bunch of languages corresponding with a glossary of bike words. I can't find it right now but maybe someone will recall this and know how to get it.

I did google for it and found the below Park Tool blog that has a downloadable spreadsheet with several languages on it. This is not the same document I remember but it is similar.

The only mention of multilingual on the wiki is http://w.bikecollectives.org/index.php?title=Bike!Bike!_2013

and Espanol (I can't get my keyboard to produce the enya, so perhaps that would have more luck) is this: http://w.bikecollectives.org/index.php?title=Conflict_Resolution_-_Diversity,_Safer_Space,_and_Individuals_trying_to_volunteer

Does anyone have links to multilingual charts? I don't want to add to the labour of any folx who natively speak languages other than English but I feel so confident this work has already been done. (I'll check the wiki)

In my area (northeast US) I'd guess the three most commonly needed non-english are Spanish, Mandarin and Arabic. I'd guess that italian and french are pretty easy to find, yeah?

Subject: [TheThinkTank] Bilingual signage for parts organization
hello from Reno, Think Tank.

We are redoing our signage for our parts storage and organization. As an org, we have agreed that they should be in Spanish and English, as well as have photos if possible. Before I put in the work, I was figuring I could as if anybody here got a PDF/Word Doc of such a thing and be willing to share?

Thanks in advance,

-Raymond

Raymond,

You can use these if you want. A 12yr old named Celeste did them for us years ago.
I would love to see your Spanish/English labels when you have them done. We should also work towards this.
