BikeChain at the University of Toronto has the EVT stand (I believe they have two/the dual stand?). It has been in use for several years now so maybe someone from their team can speak to how they have held up, or any issues they have had. From my observation they are great and easy and smooth to use and adjust.

And, yes, something like this does become more and more necessary with so many cargo and e-bikes on the roads now.

In a low tech, client user environment, an EVT might be appropriate. No electricity/wiring required:

We bought one of the park tool manual hand crank stands (PRS 3.3-2) and use it with a drill and a 10mm socket for speed. Mostly for using with heavier bikes, e bikes, and for volunteers and customers who have strength or mobility restrictions.

It’s only single sided, and the feet do stick out, but it’s very stable and very mobile with the built in wheels. A LOT cheaper than the electric stands!
