[TheThinkTank] recalled bikes and components

How often do you all check for recalled items on the old bikes?

Been seeing these recalled Shimano cranks show up on bikes we've taken in recently: https://www.facebook.com/bikex.org/posts/1425107737695385

Since finding 3 pairs in two months, I printed the recall notice images and put them in the shop to help others find them. Thankfully Shimano is still replacing them.

I also have been looking out for recalled Suntour forks https://www.cpsc.gov/Recalls/2014/scott-trek-recall-bicycles-with-sr-suntour-front-forks, but haven't seen one yet.

What else do you guys check for? Do you see anything often? How do you educate staff/volunteers on such recalls?
