We like the idea of having some sort of trailer, wagon or otherwise that we can take throughout the city to different neighborhoods, events and otherwise to help make bike repairs.

The Bozeman Bike Kitchen built our "Mobile Bike Kitchen" a few years ago based on a Bikes-at-Work Trailer.  It is a custom aluminum box (built from recycled signage) and is stocked with a 10x10 pop up tent, bike stand, and enough tools to perform all minor repair work.  There is also a second stand mounted to the trailer box itself.

We solicited the help of local designers and a college engineering class for designs and plans and then paid one of our skilled volunteers to do the build.  We then had it professionally "wrapped" with our logo and the logo of our local bike club that matched our funding in a grant to pay for the project.  I would be happy to share our grant proposal with anyone who'd like to see it - please request off-list.
