Mark and lenawee,

Me too, I live in a small mountain town in western Colorado with a University campus and a thriving bike culture.  Lots of mountain bikes, plenty of townies bumping around from the good old days of steal, and we are hosting our second year of a stage of the USA Pro Challenge.  Its a great place to live and there's no reason there's not already a co-op up and working except I just returned home last summer.

I'd be very interested to hear some insights too, the audience/participant list in a small community is necessarily small.  I've got some ideas how to increase this working with the University and the city, but its got to pay for itself if its going to be sustainable over the long run.

Thanks for the input, I start meeting with the council next week and am trying to land some time with the University's board of directors now that school is out.
