here's what we do with our most common cranksets and chainsets - cable tying both cranks together always advisable

also have an overflow storage area at the rear of the workshop with cranksets, chainsets and odd single crankarms (ideally we'd like more 'shop floor' storage but space too limited under our workbench storage area)
