Ideally the info could be collected via the wiki page and then it could generate the latest HTML on demand. (Suggests the fellow who hasn't had any time to implement the automated features he suggested for our own website about a year ago ;-)

* To show our site visitors that we are part of a
larger movement * Search engines like it when similar sites link to each other. By including the links page we'll all collectively get bumped up in the search engine results * Increased web traffic to our sites * Easy and free to do
Generally speaking this will give us all a stronger web presence which will result in more volunteers, donations and a stronger coop.
I hope to rework the wiki page to be more user friendly.
Peace Rich

Why don't we all simply update this wiki page:

*It makes more sense to have a collaborative way to
collect these
links than only one website owner able to update them
a couple times a
year. Rich, why not post your work to here?

Hey All, Thanks to everyone who helped me update the bike
collectives links
page, we now have close to 150 collectives listed
in North
America. I will update this list again next fall.
Until then I'd
like to encourage you all to post these links on
your sites. This
way we can collectively support each others work.
Please pass
this on to your webmasters. Three ways to post these links on your site 1. Go to http://CommunityCycles.org/links.html,
look at the
code and copy and paste the links 2. Visit
http://CommunityCycles.org/links_html.html and copy
the html and paste into your site 3. Subscribe to the RSS feed
