Awesome! We'll definitely give these a try.

The non-community (but still non-profit) bike shop I work at uses these, filled with Simple Green:

The bottles are pressurized with the built-in pump on top. The benefit is that you just pull and hold the trigger to spray, instead of repeatedly pumping the trigger, so the trigger mechanism lasts much longer. They're fantastic to use (no carpal tunnel!), and you can spray for a long time before you have to re-pump to top up the pressure.
Not sure how they'd stand up in community bike shop use. Possibly not that well since patrons might get confused by the pump and the lever and just start reefing on everything. But they're built to withstand commercial use (much moreso than stuff you buy from Home Depot).

We use citro-cycle degreaser in the spray bottle and then refill them from bulk bottles. The bottles have lasted at least a year and we water down the degreaser because it is initially too strong. It seems to be the best option that we have come across. I've found a variety of different models with small differences but the one thing they have in common is they suck. They tend to last 4-6 weeks and then become unfix-able garbage. Does anyone know of something strong and durable?
