At the last Bike!Bike! Nick Colombo, of Working Bikes in Chicago, said that their "acquisition  teams" rent U-hauls every weekend with each driver using their own insurance.  When I asked why they didn't just get their own fleet of trucks, he said it was cheaper renting every weekend than owning and insuring their own vehicles.

I am part of a non-profit bicycle club in the Twin Cities.  We own a bus and use it for rides during the Summer.  We insure the bus, but pay very high premiums ($300 per month).  Does anyone know of sources for insurance like this?
