If your state offers an enhanced drivers license, that is a slightly less expensive, and quicker alternative to a passport for crossing the canada border. In VT it took less than 10 days to get an enhanced ID, and costs $25 on top of the regular drivers license fee. They also do Non-Driver ID.

I would attend but for two limitations-the passport requirement and February is at the bottom of the income cycle.

Subject: [TheThinkTank] Bike Bike WInter in Feb 15...Toronto?
Date: Wed, Oct 24, 2012 22:39

I would like to ask a formal question ?

Would anyone be interested in attending a bike conference in Feb 15th in Toronto Canada that consists of educational workshops, forums, and discussions on topics ranging from wheel building, consensus decision-making, gender

dynamics, and of course, how to make a community bike space and cyclists survive through winter. All workshops will be presented and facilitated by attendees.

Please reply with interest so we can gauge interest.
