I'm unclear as to the advantage of a collective/co-op joining the NBDA.
What's their goal in offering these scholarships to collectives/co-ops? We take the $150 gamble (join NBDA) that we could get the $1000 scholarship?
I'd love to go to the summit but it's just not in the financial cards, nor is an NBDA membership (with questionable benefits) for that matter.

Bobby Gadda is giving me an earful about the nonhierarchical point,  it's something I'm going to report to the scholarship organizers as a major oversight in the scholarship requirements if they actually want collective members to apply. I appreciate the reminder!
