The Portland Gear Hub is hiring for a full-time Bicycle Mechanic and Sales position. 

Based in Portland, Maine, we're a nonprofit outdoor gear and bike shop powered by a youth outdoor education center, Ketcha Outdoors. The Gear Hub is a full service shop with a large retail floor selling a mix of refurbished bicycles, new and used bike components, camping equipment, and nordic ski gear. We use our retail sales to sustain our programs, which largely take place out of a dedicated educational space known as the Gear Hub Bike School. We also rent XC Skis and Snowshoes at a nordic trail network in Oxford, Maine in the winters.

Our mission is to get more youth and adults outside and active by increasing access to affordable, reliable gear. We're looking for someone who has experience as a mechanic and is mission-driven.
