There are three professional thoughts on efficient tools set ups, the one thing that is consistent with each of the three methods is ALWAYS put the tool away in its storage spot after each use. Tools at the bench, tools in specific apron pockets on the person, and tools stowed on the stand. Reduction of wasted time, foot steps, movement lead to greater focus on the project quality.
