<br>La Ruta is a legendary mountain bike race, you might be able to get some maps of the route to ride from town to town.  I&#39;ve heard that it&#39;s mostly a gravel grinder, suitable for touring or cross bikes but that there is the occasional singletrack where a mountain bike might be more comfortable.<br>
