Recycle-A-Bicycle has been making earn-a-bike a reality since some of us was in training wheels! FWIW, New York is a difficult, difficult place to get things done in--which is to say that Karen's perennial successes should be inspiring for pretty much everyone living pretty much everywhere else doing pretty much anything. If she can get the NYC Department of Sanitation to support something besides catcalling and being corrupt, we should all feel like the sky's the limit with our own endeavors.
