[TheThinkTank] Transition from all volunteer to some employees

Hello All,

Our shop, San Francisco Yellow Bike Project, is currently transitioning from 6 years as an all-volunteer organization to an organization with two manager type employees and two intern type employees.

My questions: Is there a resource we could tap to understand the details of hiring? Has your shop done this before? What was useful for you?

Any tips or other help would be much appreciated.

We are excited as this moves us into a more sustainable model and will exponentially grow our ability to serve.
