I could have read the application wrong, but it appears to be geared towards a formal 501(c)(3) non-profit, ideally one that could benefit from nationwide coverage.
Was not thinking of any one shop, but if we could figure out how to enter together? national recycle a bicycle day?

The top prize is national attention via advertising in USA Today. Not sure that should be necessary for a community bike shop? It could be interesting for getting the idea of community bike shops in general out there, though. How awesome is the bike collectives brand?
