At brw we have suggested prices for most items i.e. less than or equal to $4 for rear derailleurs in the bin. For fancier parts we look up market value (as judged by completed sales on eBay) and generally cut that price in half. We have a policy that used parts aren't sold unless being put on a bike. He enforcement of this policy is at the discretion of those on hand at the shop at the time. We prefer to have parts available for folks we know need them to get their bikes working and hoarders/pickers tend to take the most needed parts if they can. We have a full sliding scale on used parts as well.
