Josh,
MoBo Bicycle Cooperative uses facebook to invite people to events.
So far it's been working very well. It seems like people use the
facebook page for news/events than our website, but it's also
updated more and super legible.Jess www.mobobicyclecoop.org

Josh,
The Bozeman Bike Kitchen is on Facebook and I use it as a "port" for information we provide elsewhere. I have setup our Twitter and Blog accounts to post updates and blogs to our Facebook page automatically to keep information there fresh. This "cross pollination" of information between accounts is good because some people don't look at all of our information resources so doubling things up gets the word out.
I receive a weekly e-mail from Facebook telling me weekly statistics about my Facebook pages (I also maintain pages for a few other organizations as well as my place of business). If I see there have been a number of comments left during the week I may wish to go in and respond to keep our fans interested.
