We at Community Cycles in Boulder were fortunate enough to team up with our local hospital. They had purchased many children's helmets to increase bike safety and awareness and were having challenges getting them distributed.
At our recent holiday kids bike giveaway, we gave out almost 300 bicycles and the hospital had a table and staff who offered helmets to every attendee and helped with fitting as well.
The hospital has also given us helmets to give away to every youngster who earns or buys a bike.
