Thank you for forwarding this email some time ago from Angel. Among other happenings, this prompted my renewed interest in using mastodon. The guppe group named in the email doesn't seem to have much activity, which is unfortunate since the fediverse seems like a space whose open source design fits nicely with DIY bike culture (I suppose it's still not quite as accessible as email though..)

Anyway, bike cultures on the fediverse seem active enough, with the hashtags #biketooters and #fedibikes leading the charge, and the fedibikes and mastobikes guppe groups boosting some relevant posts too. 2. Anyone can post to and/or follow the Guppe group BikeCollectives_TalleresCommunitarios@a.gup.pe from anywhere on the Fediverse (Mastodon, PixelFed, etc.) for general bike collectives stuff.  (Moderation is done by reporting things to your local instance.)

3. We will need a volunteer or volunteers to post announcements for the planning and tech teams and relay questions from the fediverse to the people not keeping up with the fediverse who can answer those questions. Bilingual en/es preferred.
