Hi Everyone, My name is Shah Mohamed. Some of you know me by some other child hood name or nick name. We have all met and hung-out, spent time together sharing an experience or two and in the larger context, shared life. I have great respect and admiration for you all. We all have unique gifts and talents and I hope that every one of you is engaging your talents and gifts living life close to its limits. This is the first time I am sending out an email of this kind. I don't normally don't do this but I need your help. I have for the past year been working at an organization that I believe in. I do work that is rewarding and meaningful to me and from what I can tell is very meaningful to the people I touch. I run a small social enterprise and community space named Bike Works based out of a site called the Evergreen Brick Workshttp://ebw.evergreen.ca. We are an environmental community center. A place where people can gather and explore the ideas and practices of what it means to live more sustainably. Evergreen is a National not for profit charitable organization that helps make cities more livable. We do this using a methodology that focus on Nature, Culture and Community. Acting both onsite at the Evergreen Brick Workshttp://ebw.evergreen.ca and across the country in communities big and small we are helping to build a brighter future based in sustainable and healthy practices. What I need your help doing is raising funds to ensure we can run bike programming for another year. Help us raise money for Evergreen's Bike Works Program by purchasing a ticket for a special screening of Brick by Brick: The Story of Evergreen Brick Works, a documentary by Toronto's Catherine Annau. We provide bicycle rentals, DIY repair, workshops on safety and mechanics, and a unique volunteer opportunity to grow skills and community. Bikes are a natural fit with Evergreen Brick Works and the adjacent ravines of the Don! Brick by Brick is a one-hour documentary that tells the story of Geoff Cape and his determination to transform a 125-year-old former industrial site - Toronto's Don Valley Brick Works - into an environmental community center, the first of its kind in the world. Directed by award-winning film maker Catherine Annau, Brick by Brick is the uplifting story of one man's passion to save the planet, one brick at a time.

The evening will also feature hors d'oeuvres by Chef Brad Long, as well as local wine (donated by Stratus) and beer (donated by Spearhead Brewing).
