Chain tensioners anyone?
This is a total shot in the dark, but if anyone has use for (up to) an entire box of these chain tensioners, please suggest a way for us to get them to you. Not spring loaded, but they are brand new. direct from NuVinci.
Hi there,
This is Daniel Byrd and I'm the Executive Director for Kids on Bikes in Colorado Springs, CO. I am very interested in those for refurbished bikes that go out to our programs! Are they still available? I will pay for shipping, even for them if you'd like- just let me know an estimate. Are you able to put together an invoice as well?
Thanks for putting this out there! Daniel

I'll talk to the staff about the invoice.
An answer to Ciclista's question (which may be relevant to Daniel), They aren't spring-loaded, so whatever position they're mounted in is all the tension they'll provide. also it looks like one of the mount holes is for the axle, which makes them kind of goofy to install and adjust.
If y'all still want them I'll try to get them to you.

Yeah that's what I figured, but I'm wondering what the second hole/slot is for. Are there bolts included to go in the derailer hanger or something? Are you supposed to cannibalize the bolt from your old derailer somehow?

Theres no additional hardware. These are (I think) designed for a specific drivetrain that NuVinci makes with their internally shifting hubs.
