great question for this list. i'm excited to see some answers.
here's my top 4.
- rad
this may be the first bike movie i ever saw, and as such it holds a special place in my heart. 2. triplets of belleville this one is just amazing. 3. quicksilver jami gertz and bicycles? words can't express. 4. the bicycle thief i didn't see this one until a year or two ago, but the way they convey the feelings antonio had when his bike got stolen is so spot on.

If this thread is really OK and is helping us organize, then I guess it's OK.... I can't talk about all the bike movies I love or I wouldn't get anything done, but check these out, if you have time and brain cells to spare:

Seconded! Certainly one of the best.
Still trying to track down the movie Hugo's Magic Pump, if only for the shock value.

At the risk of sounding cliche, I FINALLY saw 'breaking away' a month ago. I liked it a lot, mostly because of the way the main guy got disillusioned by the Italian team.

Has anyone seen the "Road to Roubaix" yet? I've seen the trailer and it looks amazing; it's been featured at the Bicycle Film Festivals around the world this year: http://www.masterlinkfilms.com/ http://www.bicyclefilmfestival.com/
I think we should all thank Brendt Barbur and the BFF for really kickstarting a bunch of new bike-related movies in the film industry.

- Bike parts in Goonies.
- BMX bandits - if you're like what is that... you must see right
away- Nicole Kidman is rocking BMX and flatlander stunts and more, she's like 13 years old 5. Some dutch film, forgot the name- but the main girl was promiscuous and had a lil gold windmill attached to her handlebars.... and the bike bloomers! 6. I second 2 seconds.
This was a fun break from the norm, great to see people excited in response. To all you riding from Bike Bike to S.C. ride on, be safe, wish I was there!!
